More after the jump.

To celebrate the 20-year anniversary of the little palm tree on the second step on the famous skate spot Wallenberg Four in San Francisco, Nike SB designed this vibrant green “Wallenberg“ Dunk Low. Mark Gonzalez introduced the spot to the masses when he ollied the set in Blind’s 1990 video Video Days. Club Mumble describes the design of the shoe in detail: The colorway draws a palette from the palm tree itself while utilizing hemp for the Swoosh. The white midsole represents the step and has a visible “waxed ledge” around the top of it, just like that step at Wallenberg. Lastly, the insoles each contain a pixelated image of the palm tree itself, giving a nod to all of the times it has appeared in skate videos over the years.
Catch detailed images of this grassroots er palm roots sneaker below, as well as a look a the actual palm tree, and stay tuned for information on availability.
